Yeah, though I think a big part of it is a kind of reverse Gell-Mann amnesia that seems to affect a lot of creatives here. "LLMs are bad at writing, which I understand, so they must be bad at everything else, ergo it's all meaningless hype", along with understandable fear for their own livelihood.
